From mud to dust to other airborne debris, there are plenty of things that can reduce visibility. And no matter how capable an off-road machine might be, the driver won’t go very far if they can’t see the path ahead. Jeep’s new $140 high-performance windshield wiper blades plan to solve that issue once and for all.
The big innovation here is the way windshield washer fluid gets to the glass. Instead of using the hood-mounted fluid nozzles, this system sprays the fluid out of the wiper blades themselves. Unlike some systems that spray the fluid from the wiper blade frame, the Jeep Performance Parts high-performance wiper blades spray it out of 12 laser-cut holes that are a part of the blade itself.

The kit is available for all 2018 model-year and newer Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators. Inside, buyers will find new arms, blades, and the tubing required to complete the installation. In addition, Jeep includes an extra set of replacement blades. All in all, that $140 doesn’t seem to be too steep a price considering how well these blades seem to work and the fact that you get two full sets.
