Doosan Infracore North America introduced new products for 2022 at a media event held at the Real Operations Center (ROC) in Arizona during the first week of December.

The company's next-generation crawler excavators, small excavators and new -7 series wheel loaders were displayed in the introduction of their respective product experts.

Doosan also launched the DD100 bulldozer and said it will sell it through dealers in 2022.

Technology upgrades have also been introduced, including "transparent buckets."

The transparent bucket is a system that allows the wheel loader operator to see the blind spot in front of the bucket through the monitor in the cockpit. This innovative system uses cameras installed on the top and bottom of the equipment to record images in front of the wheel loader, and uses curved projection methods to display the combined images in real time.

The front of the wheel loader is considered an area prone to major safety issues due to its blind spots. With the transparent bucket function, the operator can easily view the blind spot in front of the bucket through the monitor to prevent accidents. According to the manufacturer, another advantage is that it can significantly improve work efficiency by enabling a forward viewing angle when loading/unloading or handling soil and sand.

According to the manufacturer, Doosan’s 122-horsepower DD100 bulldozer provides powerful propulsion, fuel efficiency, and all-day operator comfort. DD100 has double/single flange type rollers with multiple track guard options.

The DD100 is designed with the operator in mind and has 8 inches. The smart touch screen allows the operator to fully control it through a convenient, easy-to-read touch screen. It also provides greater visibility through the smallest front pillar, the largest glass area, and a standard rear-view camera-plus LED lights and front, rear, and side wiper blades. The DD100 is equipped with Doosan engines with easy maintenance access points and does not require diesel particulate filters to meet current emission standards. Doosan DD100 owners can add 3D machine guidance and 3D machine control functions as options to improve accuracy and difficulty of operation.
